Easy Turkey Meatloaf Recipe

A healthier twist on classic meatloaf made with lean ground turkey, savory herbs, and a sweet glaze. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs ground turkey 93% lean
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs plain or whole wheat
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for glaze
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar for glaze
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard for glaze

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients.
  3. Mix gently until just combined - don't overmix.
  4. Shape into a loaf on prepared baking sheet or press into loaf pan.
  5. Mix glaze ingredients and spread evenly over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra moisture, add 1/4 cup milk or broth to the mixture. Leftovers make great sandwiches.
